6-01-04 Growing up on a checker board I was always jealous of the kids who lived with the chess pieces. Carpets deceive us more than anthing else about where we are. I had a most interesting dream the other night, a few hours ago.  I dont remember all of it, only a small portion, and with that portion i remember none of the context surrounding it, only the atmospher and mood, but none the less, it is most interesting, perhaps disturbing for others.  I died.  Shot to be more exact, in the head, the left side of my head, an inch above and an inch forward from the top of my left ear.  I remember lying on a body temperature cement floor, in the crumpled fetal position, on my right side, so the hole in my head was facing up.  For only an instant i had that third person surreal view of my crumpled body, as if t
